One of the many obstacles COVID-19 put in the way of “business as usual” was the inability to meet as a team and with clients on a face-to-face level. In-person meetings came to a screeching halt and businesses had to find ways to protect their team members and deliver goodwill to their clients.
To address this, we developed a two-part direct mail campaign sent to the sales team. The first was designed to remind them how important they and their safety is to Smithfield by giving each a personal note from the VP of Sales and Business Development along with three custom branded face masks. As a follow-up mailing, 15 executive style pens each packed in a custom gift box along with an accompanying note card was sent. It included one pen as a gift for them and the remaining were to be given to their key clients.
